Way Off Track

Okay, I have been horible. I have no excuse but the new year and holidays somehow got the best of me. I have gain every pound that I lost. But I am going to climb back on this train of healthy choices.

I promise to update this site at least 4 times a week if not everday.

I am so with you. I found your blog while searching around the ‘net from work. Currently I do tier one tech support for our state lottery/powerball, but Im in the move to a back end, server side support position. 28, entered college in 95 at 168-met my wife in late 96-married in 98 and I was 265. Decided to join the Army and quit school to do so for a semester to lose weight-got to 240…..rejoined school





Then my mother was diagnosed with cancer and I quit school again and moved the whole family ( now +1) back to my Podunk alma mater HS. Sad….I was working at Wal-Mart-and the Army seemed like a better job than that, so somehow in three months I got down to 212….mostly by not eating and stress, I think. Hitched up, left my family for a year in 2001…Basic, AIT-185…..whoo hoo……..then I got hurt while repelling.





After my honorable discharge after a year of service, I came home, in shape, with a Secret clearance and figured Id go work for the PD or something-criminal justice, etc…..right. They don’t like hiring 50% disabled people ( Veterans Disability) with back problems and herniated discs……





So, here I am, getting an Info Systems degree (because, no matter what they tell you, a music degree will not get you anywhere-especially if you sing classical or opera! *LOL*) and weighing 270 again. Are you still working out? Want to be workout buddies long distance? I know, sounds weird, but hey, we big guys need all the help we can get. I have a blog, but I haven’t updated it in a little while, either…..

Well, good luck to you. I did 3 miles on the Elliptical trainer today…..17:30. Now if I could just run like that normally! One of these days Ill get on the Crossbow, huh? ( don’t you hate that? You tell yourself that every day and then you get home from work late or whatever…….Nah…Ill workout tomorrow….)

I was not sure to expect when I visited your blog. Well I think the information on this blog is great. I have my own blog and I wish I got half as many constructive comments as your blog does. One of the better results I saw from my fasting experience was that I have more self control over my eating habits. I have always been a binge type of eater. After my fast, I felt like I could restrain myself easier. It is proberbly a mental attribute. I mean I can go without eating for 7 days then I sure can keep myself from eating something I shouldn't.
